Mining Discard Handling
The mining industry plays a big part in discard handling and subsequent removal and is one of the few industries that actively recycles most of its own discard. Through years of experience, Carocept has become an expert in identifying different types of mining discard and as a result, has been able to pinpoint appropriate discard disposal sites with the purpose of effectively containing each type of discard.

from mining premises and makes a point of efficiently hauling and disposing of the discard, emptying it into various designated dumps.
We are experienced in the loading, hauling and unloading of discard as well as in the levelling and compaction of discard.
When hauling the discard, we transport it from the discard mining area to the designated dump. We are purposeful about choosing the best possible environmentally friendly options in order to prevent irreversible ecological degradation when hauling discard.
Once the discard has been hauled, our process then involves the unloading and placing of discard in accordance with specifications at the designated area for integrated disposal. We then shape the discard, following the specified profile and manage the dumping of discard in accordance with the design of the dump. The last step involves levelling the dumped discard and compacting it.
This entire process assists in the rehabilitation of land which has been impacted by mining activity and allows the restoration process to begin. With the intent of converting it back to a sustainable and usable condition.
