Carocept is a 100% BBBEE mining services company with level 1 BEE credentials, founded in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2016. We are a well-connected business with access to mining service contracts and offer specialised services relating to the mining sector. These services include top and subsoil removal, discard handling, coal transportation and other mining services.
We build reliable partnerships through our core principles to deliver select mining services to South African mines in and around the country. We take care of the production and rely on specialists to deliver best practise services due to the fact that we are a network-based business. Our track record is one of quality, innovation and commitment. To that end, we endeavour for the successful completion of all operations.

We currently have operations at Umsimbithi coal mine near Belfast in Mpumalanga which is jointly owned by Lithemba Wonderfontein Coal and Umcebo. We offer services on the mine that are seen as non-core mining activities, such as the handling of discard. Our company is a nominee of Lithemba Wonderfontein Coal which owns 50% of the Umsimbithi coal mine.
OUR SERVICES
Carocept is able to pinpoint appropriate discard disposal sites with the purpose of effectively containing each type of discard.
We acknowledge that each mining site is unique and by extension, supply custom solutions to suit each one.
