Corporate Social Investment

We care about the needs of community

At Carocept, we care about the needs of the communities in which we do business and make every possible effort to support them where we can by uplifting them in a way that contributes to their social and economic development.

Our commitment to corporate social investment extends beyond just giving, as we believe in creating and building lasting relationships with community members. Corporate social investment is just one of the ways in which we do this. We also focus on sustainable initiatives that positively impact the communities that we support and make a point of procuring most of our goods and services from local suppliers, who are black-owned, small to medium businesses.

Carocept supports other social development needs, aside from in-house initiatives, through our engagement with well-known organisations like Mandela Day that have the social influence to create a sustainable and tangible impact on communities.

In 2019 we contributed 100 blankets in support of the Emakhazeni Local Municipality Annual Mandela Day celebration. The donated blankets were collected and distributed throughout Emakhazeni and given to the most vulnerable members of the community, the elderly, needy and destitute who resided in the area.
